kickstand peeling

Ok my kickstand has started to peel. I know I've heard of other people having this same issue and I was wondering if anyone has found a way to stop it from peeling any more? Right now its only the end that is peeling but I don't want it to get any worse.

Only way to stop the peeling is to stop using it. I'm on a replacement because my first one was peeling and now the replacement is peeling too. Do a search some users have just removed the rest by a few different methods and there are some picks and it looks good that's what I'm planning on doing.

Ok I was just worried about it not looking good. So it would basically lose the Google thing which I'm not worried about

If it's just on the tip like mine I'd imagine some kind of clear coat could prevent further chipping if you put a little near the tip, but it may just look ugly. I'm not worried about it, if it gets bad I will strip the rest and polish it.
