Extremely annoying...

Out of nowhere...my phone only rotates to landscape view whenever I'm doing anything outside of just being on my home screen.....literally all of 5 minutes ago it was fine then I was on youtube and suddenly the thing decides that either I accept only landscape viewing or completely disable screen rotation when previously it would work depending on how I was holding the phone.

Have you made sure you're rotation lock isn't on? If you turned off rotation IN landscape that will lock it to landscape and it will seek landscape as often as it can. Also, some apps will only play in landscape if they have been chosen to do so. That's what ShaggyKids was getting at I believe.
