I have a coworker who is with Verizon and asked me for some suggestions on what he and his family should get for upgrades. From what he told me all 3 family members will get the same phone and he would prefer not to exceed $100 per phone.

The GS3 is one I am going to suggest since it is 99.99 through Verizon or 49.99 through Best Buy and it is still a very solid device. Without exceeding the $100 limit per phone, what other suggestions would be good?

The GS3 is pretty solid, as you said for the price. Also, have him check out the new "Droid" phones. As much as I hate the name, they aren't bad devices.

You are right the GS3 is a good suggestion. You can get the GS3 at newegg.com right for $19.99. That is the upgrade price, and BestBuy will price match newegg.com Got a GS3 for my mother in July for $9.99 at BestBuy through a price match with newegg.com. Since about the end of May every few weeks at newegg.com the price changes between $9.99 and $19.99.

BestBuy will price Newegg's price of $19.99 for each one he would buy. With all the money he would he could get Zagg screen protectors or put towards a nice case.

Another option would be the note 2, $100 or $50 if you signed up for the gc

Another co-worker has the Note 2, and it was stated "I don't want that". So the Note series is definitely out. Didn't want it due to the size.
