So I have had this optimus v for 6 months or so now and have flashed a few different roms. Today I tried a ICS rom and it kept freezing, so when I went back to a rom I have had before it told me to activate it.

When I click activate, it doesn't do anything!

Under system info it also says that my MEID is all 0's

Have I broken my phone???

What rom are you trying to activate from, because the only roms you can activate on are froyo roms.

I went back to the stock rom to activate it. My phone number and all of that info was 0's.

I called virgin mobile support and they had me enter the ##VIRGIN# and change the MDN and MSID and reboot.

It stopped telling me to activate after that, but said "searching for service" and shows an X where there should be a 3G.

you could try the airplain mode on/off>data enabled off>on and see if that works... if not then sounds like youre gonna have to call vm again and have them enable/reset your data... i had to do it everytime i re-upd my plan for the first 3mnths... :-)
