Scroll Fade Image Question

I am just wondering if there is a way to not have the fading image appear when you are in a list. When you get to the bottom or top of the list, you get that fade image that appears letting you know that you cant scroll anymore. I dont want that and Im just wondering if thats an image that I can go into the root folder and delete or replace with a transparent image. Im not really good with changing code around so replacing or deleting the image would be best for me. Anyone know how to modify it?

Im using a Droid X2 but I thought it was a basic android feature. Anywhere there is a scrollable list, there should be that fade when you get to the end of it. Take contacts for example. When you scroll all the way to the bottom or the top and you cant go anymore but keep scrolling, you get a fade overlay that appears letting you know you cant scroll anymore. Mine is orange because Im using a custom ROM but I think the default color is white.
