I've done the "force stop and clear data" in Google Services Framework, then back to system updates. First it says "Your system is up to date" and "Last checked for update on 12/31/1969." When I click "Check now", it goes to a screen that has "Android Update JR0030" in blue letters at the top and a 21 sentence paragraph that tells how 4.1 improves performance and responsiveness systemwide etc. There is no "download" button or anything and when I back out and check my version, it's still 4.0.4.
Oh yeah, on the screen with the long paragraph, in the upper right corner, in tiny print it says ""Downloading 146.6 MB Via Wi-Fi only until Oct. 11". Yesterday it said "until Oct. 10" and the day before "until Oct. 9". I'm sure you get the idea. I don't understand why I'm not getting the update since it's been out over a week now.
I especially like the "last checked on 12/31/1969"!
