It's working on my M8 4.4.3 stock. I just wish Lollipop could have a dark UI.

Its to do with the colour used in the contact picture (the circle with the letter inside)

Crashes on my G3 when I initiate a new conversation. Does anybody know if this messaging app will be available for all Android devices or only vanilla devices. I'm afraid I might be stuck with the LG messaging app even after the Lollipop update.

I was wondering the same thing. Why do different conversations have different colors?

If the contact doesn't have a profile picture then the color will be random. If the contact has a picture the color used will be picked based on that contact's picture.

G1, myTouch(rooted), nexusS, Nexus5

I would consider using the app if and when Google adds Google Voice support to it...
