I have Samsung Galaxy A5 and i haven't receive an update for android 5.0. My cousin has the same phone and he has android 5.0. Can you tell me what is the problem ? Btw the model is SM-A500F.

Some updates roll out in phases, so not everyone gets it at the same time, even for the same model, and even more if the phones were bought in different regions.

Also, if his phone is carrier-branded, it might take longer or it might be locked to only updating if you're on said carrier (AT&T is notorious for doing this). You can try connecting your phone to Samsung's KIES and see if the update pops up there.
