I forgot my password to my 10 in octal core tablet

I cannot get into my 10 inch octa-core Android tablet at all it's a password I guess to protect if it gets lost do Google and everytime I try to type in a password that I was positive I knew I can't get into it and it also says my phone is lost please return it on the swipe screen and then it says call person or call number

Welcome to Android Central! Did you get this tablet brand new, or was it used/refurbished? The lockscreen password is clearly intended to protect your device if it gets lost or falls into the wrong hands, but the password is one you would have created.

Did you do a factory reset of the device, and then encounter a prompt to enter a Google account and password?
