About a week ago my Samsung Gal. Tab A (SM P580 running Android 7) started misbehaving -

It will not stay shut down (when I try to 'Power Off' it just restarts after a couple of minutes) and also it does not go to sleep and stay asleep - every couple of minutes it acts like I have hit the button to bring it back up. No new software has been added recently. Otherwise it is running normally, although I have noticed that the ROKU remote app is very slow to initiate. Battery life is still good. My main concern is whether this is a hardware or software issue - I have thought about doing a factory reset but would hate to remount all of my apps if that is not the issue. The unit is a couple of years old, but has always run perfectly. All Android system updates are in place.
