I guess I don't "get" this app. I've tried using it, but it always seems to come up with my last location I used it.

For example, I used it in the office the other day to show it off. Seemed to work.

I then traveled yesterday, went to use it, and all the restaurants from around the office showed up (and not my current location). GPS was on, and I searched in vain for a "refresh" option with no luck. I waited 5 minutes or so and it never refreshed to my current location.

Is there something I'm missing here? I think I need a Layar for dummies manual.

lol. I didn't really "get" Layar either. I still don't really understand what it is for.

don't get me wrong...I know what it's supposed to do, I can just never get it to refresh to my current location.

I am also a bit overwhelmed by the different layers you can download. I am guessing (simply a guess) that the "Eat" and "Allmenus" layers are worthwhile for restaurants, but will have to dig through the others.

I did play around with it a bit more, and I think I have it under control as far as understanding the layers and how to use it. Still can't seem to get it to refresh to my current location though
