Facebook Application

I have to say, I'm disappointed with the facebook applications that are available to us on Android. With the numerous applications that have started out in the iPhone market place and then adjusted to work with Android, I really don't understand why they haven't done a better job with Facebook. The notifications almost never work for me on any of my android phones. Unlike the iPhone where you get pop up notifications when people post to your wall, or respond to comments you have posted to friends walls.

The FB app is pure garbage IMO. I have it installed, but really only use it to post the occasional status update. For any serious FB-ing I want to do I just wait till I can fire up the full site on my computer.

Maybe (hopefully) this will change at some point.

I hear you. I'm pretty much the same way. I have an iPad and use the facebook app that is actually designed for the iPhone, and I'm kind of like, WTH, look at how well this thing works, why don't they do something like this for Android users.
