I'm always on the lookout for turn-based strategy. My favorite android game to-date has been Uniwar, but it is a bit old and hasn't had real updates in a long time.
I recently found Age of Strategy, which is a Civilization-like game. There are cities that produce things, workers to build things, and research items to make more powerful or better troops.
The game has a somewhat rough, but serviceable interface. The developer is very regularly (like every few weeks) adding units and technology. In that sense, it is a work in progress, but still quite far along, and I've had no stability issues.
Overall, I give it 4 stars as a work in progress, with potential for 5 stars as updates continue. It is (in my opinion, by far) best played with other people that you know in real life.
