Whatsapp has a cursive S as a notification, how did it get there?

What app has a cursive

I'm trying to figure out what app this is that has a blue cursive "S" as a notification on the top tool bar. I didn't download it so wanting to figure out how it got there.

If you pull down on the notification shade it should tell you what notifications you have. One of them will likely be that one.

Guessing it's either Shazam or some Samsung (one of the most popular phone brands even though you don't say what phone you have) app. Shazam is most likely, unless you disable the app it pops up notifications wanting you to register for the service.
