Cant update or download WhatsApp

[Android Central Question]

Im using a Samsung Galaxy S8 and i was trying to update WhatsApp. I was struggling as it continued to say "downloading" without any progress. I then decided to uninstall WhatsApp and download it again. Now its telling me about a BETA program being full. Please help.

Just speculating here, but maybe you are enrolled in the beta for this app, BUT somehow your beta enrollment is messed up. Go to the app in the play store and scroll down in the app's listing to the beta section near the bottom, it will say "Your a Beta Tester" It should also say this at the top of the listing. Anyways from that section towards the bottom you can "Leave" the beta. IF you want to try to join again that same area will now show a "Join now" link.
