Please help - having trouble setting up games

I bought purchased this Android TV box running android v4.4
The relevant specs are:
Amlogic s802 Quad core Cortex A9r4 2GHz
Octo-core Mali-450MP GPU
RAM 2GB DDR3
8GB Internal Storage

and I've attached a 16GB USB flash drive for add'l storage.

When I setup my account, and go to the google play store, I can download some games and they work fine. But:

• NBA 2k17 (by 2k inc) says that my machine does not meet requirements - however the min specs for the game is Android v4.2
• Also , I've tried 3-4 games from easports and all of them download and when I run then they show the ea splash screen and then automatically exit and return me to the home screen.

Any ideas?
