Am I remembering correctly that when you're using an Android OS beta you get beta updates but no monthlies? I'm old and my memory is shot but I seem to recall that.

Thats the way it has been in the past. I will surely miss my monthlies.....wait, that came out wrong.

If you enroll in the program, you should. If you flash it manually, no.

I'm hoping it will be that soon. Maybe it will also include a fix to the battery problem (in the Pixel 2, at least - I don't know if other phones are showing shorter charge-to-charge times).

Sounds like some significant new possible issues might come with this. Hoping it doesn't bork it to bad. Just got my banking app working again. Almost done with the install.

Install done, banking app still works so that's cool. Had to reload my clock widget that didn't restore itself, but no biggie. So far looks the same but just checking it out. I'll post anything new I may see as I check it out. Lots to look at.
April security patch installed.
