phone says user data locked

[Android Central Question]

phone says user data locked and to enter passcode after device restarting, you can enter a password but does not give you an enter option- i dont know the passcode and wondering if you can bypass this at all?
it is my late fathers phone and need to access the phone

Hi there. If you don't know the pass code it is unlikely that you will be able to access the phone. Sorry. Does your mother know the code at all?
