Hello. I have a Samsung Note 10.1 2014 tablet and have bricked it by flashing the wrong custom os. There is no recovery now (none of twrp or the defualt recovery), no os to boot into, and odin doesnt detect the device. I know this isnt a hardware problem as it doesnt make sense to me, i havent done anything hardware related. I took it to someone who said could fix it and they said in order for odin to work they need to change the socket of my tablet. But thats bs because if the socket was faulty then it wouldnt have been charged right? Can you help me please?

If the Odin utility on your computer can't detect your Note, does it even show up as a mounted device on your PC? If not, that indicates a problem with Samsung driver. If you go into the Windows Device Manager are there any flags showing in the USB section when your Note is connected? (This is based on the assumption your PC is running Windows, Odin being a Windows utility. Or are you using the modified java version of Odin on a Mac or Linux system?) Try reinstalling the Samsung driver and see if that makes any difference. If your Note doesn't at least show up on the Windows Explorer, the Odin utility won't be able to detect or do anything to your Note.
Also, if you can't get your Note to show up on your PC, it's always to a good idea to restart both your computer and your Note. If the same problem occurs after rebooting everything that at least rules out a one-off glitch situation. Other things to try:
-- Use a different USB cable or try using a different USB port on your PC
-- If you're plugging your Note into something like a USB hub, try plugging it directly into the PC's USB port instead
-- If you have a utility like Samsung's Smart Switch installed on your PC, be sure to kill its background process in the Windows Task Manager. Both Odin and Smart Switch try to connect to your Note using similar, low-level, system resources (i.e. the USB bus) so they tend to conflict with other. Use one or the other.
-- As you're already experienced, using the wrong ROM won't work out . Always, always be sure to the use a ROM that exactly matches your model and your country/carrier. ROMs are not interchangeable. This applies not just for stock firmware but custom firmware too. Also, with Samsung, when you flash a stock ROM this also re-installs a stock Recovery. So if you did had TWRP installed, flashing a stock ROM will re-write both a clean, stock OS but also a stock Recovery. You just need to reinstall TWRP again.
