Android Central Question
Recently, my Google Pixel 4a's SIM card port was damaged so I decided to try out an eSIM. I got the QR Code from my carrier (AT&T) and the device said the eSIM was active. However, the phone still says it has no service (emergency calls only).
I have made sure my APN settings are set, I have tried changing the preferred network type by dialing *#*#4636#*#* and setting it there, and I have tried dialing *#*#72786#*#* to reset my network settings. Dialing 72786 did not pop any kind of menu for me, it just cleared out the dial (I am not sure if this is expected behavior or not).
Is there anything else I can try? AT&T has said that everything is correct on their end so I am not sure if the phone is just permanently damaged.
