Since Android 11 update, the ads on games are not muted

Hi
I have a Nokia 3.4 and it recently updated to Android 11. Since then, when I'm playing games, the ads are either muted (which they should be) or at maximum volume and can't be turned down!
Any idea what's going on? I've checked the settings and it's set to muted.

I've used the Settings to mute Media.
It's not all ads but it is on all games. When the ad starts, it's at the highest possible volume and the volume button doesn't turn it down.

That's certainly odd behavior. Does the volume go down if you use the Volume Down button when this happens?

Nope! The ad is still shouting at me!!!

Makes no difference

I'm not sure what else to try besides backing everything up and doing a factory reset. Safe Mode won't help with troubleshooting since you can't play the games in Safe Mode, and I can't suggest wiping the cache partition since Nokia phones use dual A/B partitions (meaning no cache partition to wipe). Maybe someone else can chime in ...
