Android Central Question

I accidentally checked my boyfriend's google activity, to which I thought it was my account that was logged in. I saw that there are number of times in a day to which it was indicated that he "used messages". However, when I see his inbox, there's no any new messages or if there is, it's not with the same time synced.

Should I be worried?

Unfortunately our advice on snooping in someone else's device is, we cannot help you violate someone's privacy. You will need to ask him about this directly which is the best thing to do.

"accidentally"? lol, ok. I'm somewhat on the same page as @VidJunky but also feel a brief explanation in general is in order. Some apps will "ping" the network for new activity. Messages, if it's the texting app, is always active and checking periodically for new messages. This activity can show up even if the app hasn't been opened.
