Note 10 + USB-C lapel mic not picking up sound

[Android Central Question]

I have read through all the posts - and have tried two different Samsung OEM USB dongels (different mfg #'s) so I can use a lapel mic. Phone says "recording through USB mic) but still no audio. I tried one off brand dongels, no sound.

Can someone give me the exact mfg# I need? Trying 3 times already is frustrating as he'll!

My lapel muc has the 3 rings which should be right?

I also made sure the dongel is the correct part # that is supposed to have the DAC since the phone no longer has that?

I'm really looking for a lower cost solution so I don't have to spend big bucks....

Have you tried setting in developer settings? Maybe something there might help.

The label mic has three rings but it's might not designed to be plugged into a headphone jack which supports headphones and mics at rhe same time.
