Random apps being installed on my phone

Hey guys, here is my problem:

I have a phone (serioux symbiosis x4 - it's a relatively new brand in Europe) running Android 4.2.1 stock and it's possibly infected with malware/adware - random unwanted apps keep being installed. The phone isn't rooted.

I did my 'homework':
- uninstalled all the apps except Facebook and Chrome;
- did a complete scan with Avast (found nothing);
- installed Addons Detector (found nothing);
- installed Airpush Detector (found nothing);
- i've changed my Google Account passeord;
- made sure that installing apps from unknown sources is not allowed;
- made sure that there are no .apk files on my sd card;

After all this, I think I found the app that keeps installing by itself and then installs other apps. It's called Google(and some chinese letters), has no icon. The thing is I can't get rid of it... after I uninstall it, it keeps installing by itself.

Thank you in advance guys.

OK that is a very new one for me. Looks like a Chinese clone of the Galaxy Note without the S-Pen. Even the welcome screen looks like the Note series. Serioux Symbiosis X4 Phablet.

If it is hooked into Chinese Google are you sure it isn't part of the original OS? Have you tried product support from the manufacturer?

Yeah, although it looks an awful lot like Galaxy Note, it's not a chinese clone :).

I've managed to resolve the issue with a factory reset. The support guys told me that it may still be some sort of deep-rooted virus and a factory reset should resolve that and so far, no more issues.

It wasn't part of the original OS, the phone was fine until about a week ago when I installed a bunch of games from Google Play :( .

Anyway, I hope this resolved it.
Thanks!
