AC Question

The time is correct on my phone itself. However, when I post something on Instagram, it will say that it has been posted for 24 hours, when i just posted it. When it first started happening, it would say it had been posted for 1 hour. Now it will say that it has been posted for 24 hours. How do I fix this????

So is it only apps that use the camera that have the wrong time? If so, I wonder if the camera is somehow attaching the wrong time to the photos.

Go to Settings>Date & Time. Do you have Automatic Date & Time and Automatic Time Zone checked? If not, check them. If they're already checked, then let's see what happens if you uncheck them and manually set the date, time and time zone.

If that doesn't work, look at the time and date on the picture (Photo exif editor can do that). If they're correct, it's not the phone's fault. If they're not, you can go from there, to find out why the pictures are being saved with the wrong EXIF (EXchangeable Image file Format) data.

I'm having a similar problem with my instagram too. The timing on my Direct messages is wrong, it would say that I sent the message an hour ago, when I just sent the message. It's really bugging me.

OK so on my Instagram the time is an hour off. So every time I post something or text someone it will say it was posted/sent 1 second ago even tho I sent it half a hour ago.
