Wifi connectivity issues

So about 2-3 weeks ago my wifi connection has gotten sluggish, to the point where using 2g data is faster. The wifi connection itself is strong but when I try using it for easy tasks like searching something up, the wifi almost seems none existent. Ive already done a factory reset on my samsung galaxy s3 but it didnt work. Is there any advice someone could give me, or clues to point me in the right direction?
