[AC Question]

My screen is black! I am unable to see anything! It does turn on and vibrates, rings, just no screen... If I take it to Verizon will they be able to sync my contacts to a new phone and retrieve all of the information that is stored on it? Or would I be able to do this myself! Please help! Thank you!

Welcome to Android Central! It sounds like the screen has failed. You could try accessing things yourself, according to this thread: http://forums.androidcentral.com/ge...de-accessing-locked-phone-cracked-screen.html. I'm not sure if Verizon would be able to access your information, but it's worth asking them.

A screen replacement might not be that expensive--maybe in the $100-$150 range, although I've never had to do it myself.
