Samsung S4 Screenshot Stopped Working?

I have had my S4 since January of this year (2014) and up until this week, my screen capture (using the home and power buttons) has worked perfectly, but now all of the sudden, whenever I hold these buttons, it comes up with a summary of my running apps when pressed then puts the phone into standby when I release. No settings have been changed as far as I know. What happened?? :/

You can turn on a feature to do a screen capture by swiping the edge of your palm across the screen. This is in the Motions and Gestures part of settings.
