In settings it shows the SD card I just don,t now how to access

Welcome to Android Central! What format are the movies in, and where did they come from? Which video player app are you using? If your device is on KitKat, be aware that apps need specific permission to use the SD card, so if Dell didn't update their video player correctly, it might not be able to access it.

Use a file manager app like ES File Explorer, navigate to the SD card folder where you added the movie files, select a file and see if you can open it. The device should prompt you to select an app to open it with.
