Welcome to Android Central! Devices often don't respond to immersion in water very well, unless they were designed to be waterproof or water resistant. Did you immediately dry it off, remove the battery, and place both in separate ziploc bags of uncooked rice, seal them, and let them sit for 48 hrs? The rice acts as a desiccant, and the sooner you dry things out, the better. By now, it'd be too late if you didn't. Any number of components may be damaged. You could bring it to a repair shop to get an estimate, but the cost of repairs may be almost as much as a new device.
