Samsung galaxy tab 2 10.1-why has my email stopped working?

After the recent Samsung update october 2014, when I open the application, it freezes then closes. I have uninstalled and reinstalled but still the same problem. Any ideas please?

Welcome to the forums. What email client are you using?

If it never worked after the update, I'd bring it to the carrier. They updated it, they're responsible for any problems the update causes. (Over the air updates aren't foolproof - they sometimes foul up.)
