Why aren't my Exchange Contacts displaying?

Exchange Contacts not all displaying?

I have a user who has their exchange e-mail account setup on a Samsung Galaxy S5. The user has over 6000 contacts on Exchange, but when it imports their contacts onto the phone it stops at just over 5700.

I have removed and re-added the account on a few times. Switched the syncing on the contacts on and off. But it never seems to even get to 6000 contacts showing.

Any ideas? Is this a limitation on the phone or OS even?

Anyone have any clues on this one?

I have exactly the same issue! I bought a S5 Duo 3 weeks ago from Dubai.
I set up my exchange account in the same way I'm doing on my other 2 Samsung Android devices (note 10.1 & S3) and for some bizarre reason it'll only Sync down 167 contacts out of my 2500+ contacts on the server.
I tried everything including:
1. Enabling & disabling sync
2. Hard Factory reset
3. Soft factory reset
4. Asking our IT department to remove and re-add my profile
My other devices work fine but I can't get the all of the contacts to sync to the phone apart from the same 167 contacts!!

None of my attempts with Samsung support lead to any bright ideas.

has anybody a solution yet on this?
I have the same problem.

The S5 is only syncing a couple of contacts.
It seems to work in the background all the time with something...

Hey,

Nope haven't found a solution yet.
Samsung tech support weren't either able to help.

I'm really surprised that this hasn't been solved! Surely there has to be loads of folks affected by this.
