    Welcome to the forums.☺

Under the icon should be the name of the app. If not, or if you can't get close enough to eyeball the name or to take a surreptitious photo, describe the appearance of the icon to us and we'll have a go at identifying it.
    We're ready this end....Go:

If it's a commonly known app, someone can identify it. But remember, the developer is free to use anything he likes as an icon, so the fact that it looks like an envelope doesn't mean that it has to be an email program. Even the name of the app may not tell you what it is. The Personal Notes app has nothing to do with notes, anything personal, etc. It's named that way deliberately so that you can't figure out what it does. (The person who installed it know, and that's all that matters.)
