Why isn't my new Moto E playing music?

[AC Question]

My new Moto E is not playing music

I have a Moto E android phone. I have music download to my computer(windows) & it's save under the WMA. It won't transfer or play it on my phone. Any help on this matter in changing the format needed to play music on my phone? Thanks in advance
