Why does my S3 show the logo then it turns off?

My s3 shows logo than turns off

My S3 had its charging port give out a while ago. I've been using a battery charger to charge my battery and use my phone. So recently when I put the battery in, the phone automatically turns on as soon as the battery touches the batter port in the phone, however, it only shows the logo and immediately turns off. I tried turning it on in pretty much every mode but it turns off after 1-5 seconds. What should i do?

Welcome to AC.

It sounds to me as if it may be a fault with the battery, among other possibilities. Could you try one that you know to be good, perhaps at a friendly repairer's or similar, so that you don't have to buy a replacement if it's not that?

I've tried multiple working batteries. None of them worked.
