Why is my battery grey while charging after update to 4.3?

Battery is grey whst charging after update to 4.3

Hi
I just did a software update on my HTC one m7 twice and since then along with all the pointless apps I didn't want my battery although charging is grey??
Anyone know why and how to fix?
