Why is my tablet showing Chinese characters?

My tablet get strange this morning

Woke up this morning to my Model QMV7A show Chinese characters in the upper left of the screen. It won't turn on, off...nothing...

Welcome to Android Central! It's probably the Recovery menu, and it's in Chinese because your device is probably an off-brand device direct from China. Can you show us a picture of that screen? Maybe we can use Google Translate to find the selection for "Wipe Cache Partition", "Wipe Data/Factory Reset", or "Reboot System Now."
