How do I stop pop ups while using Apps?

Pop ups while using Apps

This is a problem I have been facing for the last few days. Not only when I am surfing on the browser am I bombarded with pop ups and ads where I m routed to some webiste, or the play store opens randomly, I have been having this problem while using some apps too. These are not some shady apps I m talking about, these are popular apps that is giving me this trouble.
Tried a lot of stuff, uninstalled all the apps and reinstalled them, cleared all cookies and data on the apps and on my browser. Installed a anti virus on my phone. Still having the same problem.

Try Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and AdWare.

BTW, clearing all your cookies just makes you enter a lot of information again. When you click "remember me" on a site, it does it by sending your phone a cookie. Next time you go to the site, your login won't get filled in automatically, or whatever that cookie is for.
