I got my droid from Verizon

I visited the Warwick store.If this is a common problem why not push the otter box.really 200.00 a yearin insurance for me to pay $80.00 on a faulted screen on a 150.00 phone.If there is the screen assures why didn't they let me know. Oh I also have yo wait for the call for the part and be without a phone.

Welcome to Android Central! Sorry, what's the issue? Did the screen get damaged? Screen damage is a common problem because accidents happen. It's up to you to decide on whether you want to use a case or not--many people simply don't want to, because they don't like the added bulk.

The phone isn't $150 total--the retail price is more like $500-700, depending on which Droid model you have. $150 is just the subsidized price under contract. And the insurance coverage (including deductible) is pretty clear if you look at the policy.
