Kingo root Stuck on waiting for device, what should I do?

Kingo root Stuck on waiting for device

After kingo root downloaded the requisite dependency files it kept on saying waiting for device it has been like this for nearly 2 hours what should i do

1)Take it out and flash the originall hudl rom

2)take it out and reroot

3)wait

Did you install the driver for the phone on the computer before you ran Kingo? If you didn't, unplug the phone, install the driver, rerun Kingo and plug the phone in.

If you did, wait a few hours (it may actually be trying to download the correct exploit for that phone). If that doesn't work, you can try unplugging the phone, then plugging it back in.

I am in the same boat as the OP. Kingo is stuck "waiting for device" at 97%; however, the phone (N4) has rebooted itself and appears to be running perfectly normally. Any suggestions?

Edit: A root check tells me the phone hasn't been rooted yet. Guess I'll wait a while.
