Whatever the browser or site, my phone redirects to ad site and I can't able to view the original page. First I thought it's in chrome only, but I installed Firefox and it's also redirects. I think i might have ad virus that redirects everything. Please someone help to remove it. I couldn't find any solutions on any site.
Welcome to Android Central! Try going to Settings>Apps>All, select your browsers, and Clear Cache/Clear Data, then Force Stop them. If your mobile Chrome or Firefox are syncing with the corresponding desktop browsers, then make sure you clear the cache, browsing history, and cookies from them as well. Does it persist?
Hi, Thanks for replying. I did that already, it was working for few hours then it comes back. Is there and ad blocker like in PC chrome to install to android chrome?
There is, but it's not available on Google Play, since I think it violates terms of service (since it blocks legitimate ads as well). You'd have to find it elsewhere on the web.
