After my nexus 4 screen is broken, the PC doesn't recognized the phone

A

AC Question

1. My nexus 4 screen is broken, and it's unable to access the phone.
2. I have been trying to access my gmail and wished to get something I need from my google drive. Unfortunately, I set up two-step verification. The access code was planned to send to my cell phone number and my phone number is bounded with my gmail account on the cell phone.

I would like to know:
1. Is it possible to access my phone?
2. Is it possible to get my data back?

Thank you very much.

A very miserable Nexus 4 user

Welcome to Android Central! Gmail and Google Drive should be easily accessible from any browser, unless you had turned off your Auto Sync for some reason on the phone.

If the phone has a screen lock set up, then the computer wouldn't be able to read the phone's storage until you unlocked the screen. You can try this method: http://forums.androidcentral.com/ge...de-accessing-locked-phone-cracked-screen.html. But even then, you wouldn't be able to access Gmail or Google Drive, because that data isn't stored in discrete files that you can transfer--it's web based. Google Drive can download files directly to the phone, but again, you should be able to access Google Drive from any computer.
