Why Galaxys5 wont display my contacts?

I pick up my phone to make a call and I have no contacts! I use my blue tooth and I can speak a name from my contacts and it makes the call. But when I open contacts there's nothing there. My contacts wont display. I know they are there because I can use voice commands and it diles the number

Have you tried going into your contacts settings to see what is selected under "Contacts to Display"? There are several options there. You might select "All" and see if anything changes.
