Call waiting on Verizon Nexus 6. Can't turn off!

Anyone here have a solution? Customer support says they have call waiting turned off for my phone at Verizon, which should be the solution. It has not worked, however, and call waiting is still disturbing my conversations, and closing my calendar when I am working with a customer on the phone. Verizon has been able to turn off call waiting on every other phone I've owned, but it won't turn off on my Nexus 6.

Have. You backed up all you important stuff and did a master reset
