Usb 3.0 cable for a phone with 2.0 Micro-B?

AC Question

I have a laptop at work with two USB 3 ports that i would like to utilize to charge my Honor 6, at the moment it charges way to slow with a 2.0 cable so i'm lucky if it's 100% at the end of the day.

I was thinking something like a cable like this (assuming it really is 3.0):
ebay.com/itm/1-M-micro-USB-3-0-general-charging-cable-data-Line-for-android-phone-samsung-/181820862061?hash=item2a555e2e6d

Or maybe a Y-splitter cable that can draw power from both 3.0 ports and charge it even faster, does such a cable exist with a 2.0 Micro-B interface at the other end?

It's not really a USB 2.0/3.0 issue. Some cables have some wires switched around to allow for faster charging but they will ONLY charge, they won't carry data. I bought a couple longer cables from MonoPrice but they charge my devices slower than the cables that came with the devices.
