When tring to use the smule app using my earphone I can't hear myself while singin and after I saved the file, it sounded muffled and grounded. I tried using different earphones but the result are all the same. I don't know if my earphone jack is broken. And also the headphone symbol is not showing up on my notification while an earphone is plugged in. Is it normal.? By the way im using the samsung galaxy s6 edge. Thanks.

There could be a number of problems. The headset could be wired wrong for a cellphone. The mic could be bad. The earphone jack could be bad. There's no way to determine which it is without actually having the phone in hand.
I have the same problem with my S7 Edge. I've searched and googled all over the internet and haven't found a definite answer. I also tried other similar apps (karaoke type) same thing. It does however, pick up my voice via the headphone on a voice recorder app. HELP! I wanna sing on SMULE!
