Which is a better deal, the LG G2 or the LG G3?

A

AC Question

I'm able to get the international unlocked version of LG G2 at $340 CAD (roughly $256 USD), but I'm not sure if I should get the LG G3 instead. I can get it with a plan at $20 CAD aka $15 USD/month for 2 years, or at $420 CAD ($316 USD) unlocked and international.
I've heard that the LG G3 display is gorgeous but the battery dies faster than the G2 and overheats a lot partially due to this.
Which would you consider to be a better deal for my money?

So the G3 would cost you US$360 if you got it on a plan, or US$316 if you bought it outright. Unless cash is tight, the plan isn't saving you, it's costing you.

Which phone is better for you depends on you. I wouldn't buy a phone that doesn't have a removable battery. (And I've used a few G2s - they're nice phones, even if I prefer the S Pen in my Note 3. I've had no problem throwing a G2 in my shirt pocket when I went out and using it.)
