Why Can't connect my wifi to my tablet?

[AC Question]

I can't connect my home wifi into my Samsung Tab S tablet. I tried rebooting the system and it still not letting me connect. I switch the "on wifi" and nothing happens.

Welcome to Android Central! Does the switch actually turn on? Does it turn on, then turn off by itself? Or does it not seem to respond at all, and the switch just stays off?
