Most photos are blank

[AC Question]

Hi All,

New to the Note 4. I took a lot of photos today (save to memory card) and now when I get home I can only see a few of them.

Any ideas? Have a lost them? What might have caused this and how can I stop if happening again?

Welcome to Android Central! It's probably either a corrupt or counterfeit SD card. Unmount it (in Settings>Storage), remove it, and insert it into your computer. Can the computer access those files?

If not, then put the card back in the phone, and run SD Insight to see if the card is what it says it is. It's relatively common for counterfeiters to take a small capacity card and reprogram it to make it report much more capacity--but if you try to store more on the card than it can actually hold, it'll glitch.
