How do I keep from phone from reverting back to the home screen ?

I have a Galaxy Core Prime. I've only had it for a couple of months. The software is up to date, but yesterday it started acting weird. When I was on chrome, it kept going back to previous pages. And when I was on an app it would do the same until it reached the home screen. Everything I try, like going into my settings, it'll keep trying to go back to the home screen. I tried factory reset but the problem was still there. It took me forever to get past the initial questions because my phone kept going back to previous questions. The problem still persists.

Welcome to Android Central! It sounds like your Back button might be malfunctioning. Since it persists after a reset, it's probably a hardware issue. Contact Samsung for warranty repair.
